Eliminated Duplicate Data Entry and Refocused Resources on Customer Service

ASE IT Networks uses the Netsuite Customer Portal to manage their clients’ IT environments as part of their “everything as a service” managed IT offering. New clients were first created in NetSuite and then manually in Active Directory. A solution was needed to automate the manual process of User creation in Active Directory.
ASE wanted to minimize the time spent working with data to enable a greater focus on new sales and customer service. Connectivity between NetSuite and Active Directory would minimize re-keying of user information, ensure data accuracy and provide a faster, more efficient experience for its customers in requesting new products and services. This required an integration solution that would run with minimal ongoing maintenance and input from their team.
Solution
ASE engaged WDCi, a member of Boomi's Partner Network, to build an LDAP Connector to access Active Directory and to deploy a rapid integration process between NetSuite and Active Directory. WDCi recommended that ASE use Boomi’s integration platform, AtomSphere, in order to accommodate their requirement in the fastest possible time using the existing NetSuite Connector.
Now, when a Client is created in NetSuite, that information is replicated as a User in Active Directory. Client updates are also updated to Active Directory.
ASE found these benefits following the implementation of AtomSphere, including:
- Eliminated re-keying of user data between the two systems
- Improved data accuracy of key user information
