Saveology.com’s business model requires that they share information with a variety of external partners. Files are exchanged between Saveology.com’s inContact system and Salesforce.com frequently in order to update customer order status and process payment notifications. The files received are in a variety of formats (XML, CSV, multiple XSL sheets) and they are received via a variety of transfer protocols (Web Services, FTP, email).

Prior to implementing Boomi AtomSphere for integration, the processes for integrating data from the various file formats and transfer protocols were custom coded in .NET and resulted in frequent processing errors and the company had no control over their partners’ processes. In addition, because there were so many different processes, they had multiple points of failure which made it a challenge to track down and remedy errors.

Solution

Saveology.com selected Boomi to integrate inContact and Salesforce.com and to support their overall cloud computing strategy. They chose Boomi AtomSphere due to its ease of integration with Salesforce, the built-in monitoring and error handling tools, and the ability to get up and running quickly via Boomi’s JumpStart program.
